In PET Bottle manufacturing process, defects are many times caused by bad quailty of high
moisture content of PET resin and/or bad bottle preforms;
incorrect blowing molding parameter settings; machinery faults;
or incorrect mold design injection or blow molding processes.
All these factors may result in bottle bursting in filling machine, the warehouse,
in transportation vehicle etc..., they all can be costly problems reulting
in lost business/production targets and downtime.
Moreover, risk for such failures increase remarkably in hot and humid conditions.
The Burst Strength testing process determines overall performance of bottles,
bottom quality and strength on one-piece petaloid and re-fillable bottles.
This instrument makes a hydraullic/mechnical test of the BOTTLE until its destruction,
take measurement of different parameter such as
per cent (%) of volume of expansion, the breakage pressure, it allows further analysis and
statistical control of the process.
In addition, the tester can be set to perform "time-holding resistance"
tests at set pressure & time period according to bottle specifications.
